South Coast Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation (SCMSAC) is a Non-Government Organisation (NGO), is Not for Profit (NFP) and is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) providing health and health related services relevant to wellbeing and benefit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and Communities throughout the Shoalhaven, with some regional services extended throughout the South Coast of NSW.
SCMSAC was founded in 1982 however incorporated on 18th January 1983 and is now over 31 years old. SCMSAC services operate out of 5 sites located in the Nowra CBD, Falls Creek, Wreck Bay and Jerrinja Aboriginal Communities and Batemans Bay providing services ranging from holistic primary health care and other health related services. These services include improving the quality of health and health related services, whilst providing equity of access to mainstream services for these communities.
