DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to extend a warm invitation to our Aboriginal community and their families to join us for our Close the Gap Day Event, taking place on March 21st at the Jane Ardler Centre. This event is an important opportunity for us to come together in support of closing the gap in health outcomes within our community, through a proactive and holistic approach to wellbeing.\nDate: Thursday, March 21st, 2024\nTime: 11:00am – 1:00pm\nLocation: Jane Ardler Centre, 51-53 Berry St, Nowra\nThroughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our dedicated Health, Wellbeing, and Child & Family Service teams. Whether you have questions about your health, wellbeing, family support, need to book appointments, or require referrals, our team will be available to assist you. We will also offer a complimentary lunch and a free coffee van for all attendees.\nFun activities have been planned for children, including cultural art activities and a teddy bear clinic. There will also be free promotional gear available, ensuring an enjoyable experience for the whole family.\nTo assist us in making necessary catering arrangements, we kindly request that you RSVP by March 15th. You can RSVP to communications@southcoastams.org.au with your confirmation.\nPlease also feel free to share this information with all community members who you believe will enjoy this event.\nWe hope you can join us for this event as we work together to support healthy communities, strong families, and continue to honour and celebrate our connection to culture.\n
