Our Health and Wellbeing team focuses on prevention, intervention, health education and health promotion, when attending to the physical needs of an individual. We also consider their social, emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing, and the needs of local Aboriginal communities. Our holistic approach to health and wellbeing integrates with all our services.

Our newly renovated Jane Ardler Centre is now in full operation and we have been able to expand our health services to include a Diabetic Educator, an Optometrist, a Prosthodontis and an on-site Pharmacist. By having these services all under one roof, our clients are now able to access convenient continuous care across all areas of health and wellbeing and our team is working together to find the best solutions for our clients.

The recent installation of our large Immunology fridge is allowing us to store high volumes of the Covid vaccine and is enabling us to provide vaccinations to our community efficiently. High quality equipment and a well-trained team to use them means our community are getting the best care available.

We have also purchased a spirometer which is used to assess and diagnose breathing conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Clients can now access this test at the Jane Ardler Centre broadening the scope of early diagnosis and treatment we are able to offer.

All our services are bulk billed, however if the doctor or dentist refers you to another service, fees may apply. On your visit be sure to bring your Medicare card & Health Care/Pension/Concession card.

We aim to see all patients in a timely manner and with the doctor of your choice. If your health needs are complex, please remember to request a longer consultation when making your appointment. Please make an appointment with the doctor to get your results. Due to confidentiality reasons, we cannot give results over the phone.

Pharmacist Services

One of the most notable improvements to our clinic is the recent addition of an on-site pharmacy and Pharmacist. Pharmacists are a key part of the client journey and an integral part of our health and wellbeing team.

Not only do our clients now value having a ‘medicine expert’ to consult with and trust, we are now providing an opportunity for better medication management in partnership with our GPs and empowering patients to work on medication self-management goals.
