This course is designed for parents who are seeking to learn more about their child’s needs and how to better respond to behaviours.
Participants will learn mindfulness techniques to increase awareness of thoughts and feelings. You will learn to be more aware of your child’s needs and how to better respond to their behaviour to improve your child’s positive self identity.
- Learn more about the origins of your own parenting style and how it can be more effective. Identify important messages you want to convey to your children and how to achieve this.
- Discover how to overcome some of the obstacles that are getting in the way of being the kind of parent you would like to be.
- Learn about the importance of building self esteem in children.
