Our Carer Information Pack is for people considering becoming a foster carer with us. It provides useful information about foster caring, what’s involved, and what you can expect from the process.
Our Carer Manual is for current carers and provides more detailed information to support you in your caring role, including practical guidance, carer responsibilities, available supports, and useful contacts.
If you’re a current carer and would like a copy of the Carer Manual, please contact: psintake@southcoastams.org.au.
Our parenting programs support parents and carers to build strong, healthy relationships with their children and families. We provide culturally safe programs that help strengthen parenting skills, improve communication, and support children’s social and emotional development. Through shared learning, practical strategies, and supportive group environments, our programs help families grow in confidence, deepen connections, and create safe and nurturing homes for children and young people.
We’ve included some of the most commonly used and helpful numbers for carers below, with a more extensive list of services and supports available further down the page.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for or you’re unsure which service to contact, please reach out to your SCMSAC team for support.
