Our CSP supports young people under Youth Justice supervision in Queanbeyan, Bega, Batemans Bay, and Goulburn. We provide practical support to help young people achieve the goals in their Youth Justice Case Plan or Conferencing Outcome Plan, such as:
Most young people are referred by Youth Justice as part of their supervision or conferencing outcome plan. Families, schools, or other services can refer young people to the Community ARP program for early intervention support. You can reach out to our Justice Support team to learn more and see how we can help
Our ARP provides similar support to CSP but is focused on Aboriginal young people in the Shoalhaven and Far South Coast. In addition to practical assistance, the ARP strengthens cultural identity and connection to family, community, and Country, helping reduce the risk of reoffending. We also support Aboriginal young people in the community who are not yet involved with Youth Justice but could benefit from early intervention. The program provides the same culturally focused guidance and practical support as ARP to help young people make positive choices before justice involvement occurs.
